Northern Tanzania · Journey 02
A day shaped by open land, gathering herds, and the quiet excitement of never knowing what waits beyond the next turn.

Seen by us in 2019
Our Tarangire photographs belong to one continuous journey on 18 April 2019. Together, they remember more than individual animals: they remember the rhythm of the day.
Wildlife appeared around the water, between trees, and beside the road. Some moments were expansive; others lasted only long enough to raise a camera. That mixture of patience and surprise is what we want travellers to experience.

Wildlife of this journey
These animals are labelled as Tarangire because the images form one dated sequence from the same park visit—not because we guessed from the scenery.

The landscape between encounters
Safari is not only what moves. It is also the land that holds every moment.
The journey was lived first
This is not a supplier’s stock collection. It is our own safari memory, and one of the journeys that later became Seen by Us.
The northern journey continues
From Tarangire, the route continues to the Ngorongoro viewpoint before travelling onward to Serengeti—the third part of the northern journey.
