Before we begin

We wanted to experience Tanzania—not simply pass through it.

We are a Tanzanian–German couple, and Seen by Us began in the space between two perspectives: knowing Tanzania as home and discovering it through new eyes.

As we travelled across Tanzania, we discovered extraordinary landscapes, wildlife, and places of quiet beauty. But we also began to notice how easily travel can make you feel like a spectator: following the familiar route, seeing the expected sights, and always being recognised only as a tourist.

We wanted something more human. We wanted to take our time, meet people, experience everyday life, and understand what exists between the famous destinations. The moments that stayed with us were not staged for visitors—they were simply lived.

Seen by Us Safari grew from that feeling. We still share Tanzania’s iconic places, but we invite you to experience them with greater curiosity, connection, and intention.
